Thanks Glen,
The 2 springs I have are very different. What I assume is the brake spring is the lighter duty of the 2, and has long straight ends before it hooks. The other is much heavier and the ends turn to hooks right after the coils. There is a piece with a hole for a spring to hook into behind the frame side of the clutch bell crank (the other end of the bell crank attaches to the bell housing) If the brake spring attaches to the bell housing (Whereon the bell?) then the fitting at the other end would be for the clutch spring. (which I tried and couldnt make sense of where the other end would go.)
I suspect that the brake spring is supposed to ge to the frame side of the bell crank and maybe was hooked elsewhere on yours? but thats just a guess, you find lots of creative ways people have put thes rigs back together that work but not how they were originally.
Thanks for looking! I do appreciate it.
If you get bored and have a big thaw, take a look at the others if you would.
Thanks again,
Tim
