Do these remote brake boosters require a check valve or is the check vale an integral part of the actual booster? I've seen a different thread where someone mentioned their truck had one mounted near the firewall. Mine didnt have one when I took it off the truck (the truck wasnt running at the time). Also will 3/8 hard line be sufficient to run from manifold to system (approx 8')? Mine is the exact unit on this page: http://stovebolt.com/techtips/bendix/erickson/
