My home is heated with 3-4 maximum cords a year using a air tight wood stove and we only heat with wood? it is about 1,700 sq ft and much smaller than yours. But we heat 6+ months of the year for our winter(Oct-March+) and have high winds and many days of 20 below zero wind chills during the winter. That is when the stove is on full blast day and night@! Still stays 65+-70 degs most of the time.
