yes, al jr. did the center console. it did have a gas engine. it also had some sort of bolt on nose piece in the front that incorporated spray rails and a under hull lift that broke the suction on the bottom of the hull. i've spent time with both brothers, different as night and day. the center console traded hands about a year ago. saw it in freeport. was nice. the 2 engine police boat traded hands in the last year too. 2 6 cylinder engines. i did spray rails on my 28' made it a MUCH dryer boat. you have to get the placement right or you are wasting time. Dante installed mine during my restoration. Bow thruster on a grover. it would help, but i enjoyed the mystery of what the boat would do while backing into my slip!! contact me via email and ill send you a pic of the replacement boat.
