This Carryall from the photo ads has a resemblance to mine. I'd be interested in exchanging notes with the new owner.

My Carryall was used by the Arizona State Prison in Florence. They got it as surplus property in the 70s and operated it until the mid 90's when it was sold to a collector in Phoenix. White was a logical color for the hot AZ sun. The inmates who worked at the motor pool painted the engine blue and the brake drums red.

I'd be curious to discuss other details with the new owner of the Carryall from Palm Desert to see if our trucks have things in common.
