3 mins is not enough time to get the oil hot? I would think maybe you clogged the tube to the oil pressure gauge or sending unit. Try a new gauge on the engine. Hot oil pressure drop takes 10-15 mins of hard use before it drops off for loose mains etc. On new stuff I start the engine run a few mins and change the oil. I know it is a waste of good oil but to me it washes out the bearings and other stuff that might have been missed doing it. Oil is cheap but this is not necessary just something I do.
