it almost looks better to me that way as it is forward more and the winch is kinda tucked under it
on mine with the stock set up my grill will not go down behind the winch anyway-- i must have gotten the early model pw winch ext. for my wc-- i see a way to move it forward but no need
not sure if you noticed the bolts bolted to the stock holes in the bottom of the grill(the grill is actually upside down in the pic(so no holes in the top)//dawned on me i could weld some pcs across the top of the bolts and down on each side of the winch to grill off those areas and it bolts on and off to the bottom of the grill
the other idea is to put the grill where it goes in the shell and just cut the rods leaving them short above the winch but longer on the sides again to grill that area
going to wait to get the side pcs. made up and go from there
