According to the Wagner listing on RockAuto '92-'97 all have 7/8" bore.

That kills my theory that I need to switch the mastercylinder in my first gen that now has a second gen transmission and slave cylinder. I still don't know why they are different part numbers. But I guess they have the same bore.

I wondered if maybe I needed a bigger bore mastercylinder to disengage the clutch before the pedal bottoms out?

There's no adjustment in the factory setup. Maybe I need to make an adjustable pushrod?
