My apologies for this off topic post. However, as I have a 62 W300 Power Wagaon I've posted about here in the past, and as I've found the advice here to be really good and actually fully reliable, I thought I'd ask here rather than somewhere else.

Amongst the stable of Dodges out front, we have a 2007 4x4 diesel D3500. I use this truck a lot during the fall and spring, in addition to it being my highway vehicle when I travel. I've never altered it in any fashion, other than to add an engine block heater.

It's become somewhat of an annual ritual for me to high center this truck in snow every year where, if I take my W300, I don't. Of course the W300 is a completely different animal, but part of that is that it has super clearance.

I've never thought of lifting anything but two years ago acquired a 97 Jeep (another Chrysler) that has been slightly lifted, and I've never high centered it or even gotten it stuck.

So, would it benefit me at all here to lift the D3500? If I did that, what all else do I have to do to keep the performance of the truck basically the same. And I believe the real point of that is to use bigger wheels and higher wall tires, so what would a person basically recommend (including "don't do it" if that's your recommendation)?
