My first car was a 55 Chevy Del Ray, My only picture of it. My dad and I pulled the engine and brought it to a re-builder and got back a short block. He was pretty much a ford man but did not have a love for any particular vehicle. He and my mom like to ride in my 56 Chevy. In fact his 90th birthday is on Dec 24. Christmas was always at their house but the last couple of years it has moved to my house. My mom doesn't want to come over because she is embarrassed that she can't remember grand kids names and she doesn't want to be too far from her own bathroom. I think I will go over on the 24th and take them both for a ride and get some photos. Not too many years left and my mom will not appreciate a ride in a bumpy Power Wagon.
