The cool thing is the old Dodge Trucks are still working and able to be fixed in your own garage after 60 Plus Years and I can never expect the new ones to ever do that again. The electronics and such were never figured to last that long. Just long enough to get past the warrantee period and then some. Can you see taking one of the 2016 Dodges and 60 years from now trying to figure out the wiring how it was done and re/doing it again? The wires are already breaking down in my 2005 Dodge Ram on the door locks and rear windows and it has just 150,000 miles on it. Nice part is you normally don't have to do anything to them for the first 130,000+ miles and in the past that would be a joke. After that time it is a toss up what is going to go wrong and the bucks start getting spent big time!
