I went to school in Gunnison CO (70-72). 50 below with a 15mph wind was 86 below one night. Coldest I ever did. That will kill you in a hurry. Warmed up to 30 below in the day. If it hit 10 below we would be out in t shirts and jean jackets throwing frisbees. Ya get used to it after awhile. My poor 58 Plymouth's 2 speed tranny was never the same again. Hood blanket, dip stick heater and a space heater under the oil or no go for the Poly. We were often the coldest in the lower 48.
