when i mount mine on the front side of the support my stock grill is in the way--but i have the long grill(non winch) so maybe with a short grill you don t need the grill ext. since the rad is sitting at the same angle as the motor so the bottom of the rad hits the bottom of the long grille but may clear the short grill
did you ext the grill on yours
