It is really hard to tell with the quality of the picture. But it caught my attention also. It looks rippled or dented in a couple of places. However, I do see the curve of the insert on the front passenger side and possibly an edge of it further back.
The truck is missing its passenger side wiper arm but the post is there. There is no radio antenna so maybe it is not a radio truck but is being used as a staff car. One picture I have shows a WC53 being used as a taxi in Dawson Creek (it was also stuck in that picture).
