Hello All,
Finished putting the WC 1/2 ton back together. The IND-7(236) sounds real sweet and other than a leaky oil pan which will be changed out very soon, I am pleased with it all. I installed the Distributor (an IGC-4721) that was installed on the motor which was running a welding unit. The motor does not have a lot of "Pep" which I attribute to the advance curves on this distributor. I have a 1957 distributor which I had the advance curbs set up back to factory. It was running the 230 Dodge motor which I replaced with the 237. Is it possible to change out the shafts between the distributors? I'm not good at all posting pic's on forums. If someone would want to post pic's of the truck, I could e-mail them to you and you could post them. Thanks for any advice on the distributor swap and hope you all have a nice upcoming week.
