Hhui Adam, nice job! I wouldn't sand the run out, as sanding usually results in removing the clear and color coat around the run, instead of removing the run. Instead, take a single edge razor blade, mark one side. Then. With marked side out, drag it across a piece of 400 grit placed on a glass surface. A window works great. Do this a couple of times. This creates a "curl" on the blade edge. Then round the corners slightly to reduce scratching by the blade.
With blade ready, gently scrape down your clear coat run until smooth. If final touch up is needed, use a piece of 1000 grit and wet sand the area. Then touch up your clear coat and buff out once dry.
