moving the tc is not a good idea then you have to redo the front and rear drive shafts
cannot the jack shaft be cut shorter
maybe a little on each side--then would have to rethread the female side for the seal
might could just cut the male side--don t see where it can move(slide much one way the other specially if it is closer than stock do to the longer tranny)
