I picked up too Scouts in August. The worst parts about them is the fuel tank area(s) in front on the rear tires/wheel wells. Dirt and sand are throw forward into a gap that causes not only the lower fender to rot, but packs around the fuel tanks as well. I see tons of Scouts for cheap, they don't bring the $$ that similar sized old SUVs bring.
That being said....I like mine!
