Don't get me wrong guys...it looks like a fun project & a cool period one. I like the idea...I prefer that power plant to a poly because it's period correct...I just don't think it's the best engine for a FFPW. A good engine? Sure...id buy it! :) Better suited than a 4bt?? Boy...that's pretty tough to beat. The 4bt has more torque, way better fuel economy, fits way better, runs for way more miles...way less maintenance.....I mean it's pretty hard to beat the 4cyl Cummins if money is no object.
