M2-4 I think is what the data plate said (?). Looks like the 1-ton. Checked the ad and couldn't get the detail pic with the data plate to show this time.
WW2 IHC trucks are very cool but they look awkward compared to Dodges, I think. Parts support is not great, seems like, at least for the larger trucks.
I have a '42 M3H4 1&1/2 ton 4x4, the H means hard cab supposedly. It has more in common with a 6x6. 269 engine and 17 percent overdrive in 5th gear. I've never had it running (or stopping) right. I drove it home on the hwy but after that it has mostly stayed on the place. It was really rough when I got it and hasn't improved much since then. I put a boom and rear winch on it to build my cabin and shop. Now it's parked - plan is to put a dump box on it, after 100 other projects get done.
