This was about40 years ago, so my memory isn't too great, but it seems like the blade was around 8' or maybe a little less? And, I am going by what the guy told me when I bought it.
It actually handled it quite well. Maybe he was wrong?
You could lift the front of the Cat by the down pressure on the blade.
