Chrysler 218 engine. P23 plymouth. Fresh rebuild. running 12v system. Conventional point system. Point gap at 0.020". Point gap at 0.025".

What would the symptoms be running the point gap at 0.025" vs 0.035"?

I set this new rebuild up per the specs I found on line. 0.025". But I recently read that's for a 6v system. And maybe my plugs should be at 0.035" gap?

What symptoms would the truck exhibit with the smaller gap? Less power? Occasional miss under load? Any of the above?
