Thats what I am thinking now. Just have a forward scavenging shield that steals some of the louvers from the inner fender, then directs to an airbox with a flat filter, then from the flat filter to the intake of the turbo. Drain holes and forward slope as well. I am not planning on "offroading" or fording over the hubs, I think that this will be my best CAI results. I also agree that the 5% increase may not be worth the efforts however I will be towing a camping trailer with the truck and if I am making the effort, why not make the full effort.
