I dont have the time to finish with all the other projects. It's a early (single headlights)'58. 1 of 196 made in '58 with the 7.5 ft bed and the flathead 6 motor. Sheet metal is in really good shape. 230 motor runs strong, NP420 (syncro) transmission, 4.10 gear ratio in the axles. I had the seat reupolstered, bought a near perfect hood, put on excellent fenders from a '59 1 ton, and bought a chrome grill and lower grill bar. I sanded, primered and painted the cab and fenders the original orange color. Had the wheels sandblasted and painted and installed 235/75/16 radials. Glass is pretty good and I nave new un installed weather strip for the windshield and rear window that I got from Vintage. Easy project to finish, as pretty much all the parts are there. Drives but needs brakes (Unless you want to keep the anti-lock brake system pioneered by Dodge trucks) and exaust (Muffler made by a swiss cheese factory). Bed has excellent tailgate, fair fenders (no rust), needs new wood and support channel (4 pieces of 3" channel iron). This has been a local truck and I have the history back to when it was bougtn new in town in '58 I am located in Central Washington State.
