The guys at The Foote in Norfork, MA, have a bunch of the Cummins 6A3.4T with Chevy adapters on the yard. I got a 4BT for my M37 from them and got a great unit.
Their web page list: "6A3.4T 120hp@3600 perfect replacement for gas with Chevy adapter for standard trans; runners; $1995"

If you call them, tell them the guy in Raleigh, NC sent you... I paid less than they list on the web page for more than they listed...
