Also, to add to Brian's bit on hardtops, a lot of VFD and Park Service FD units installed hard tops on military vehcles. The roscommon equipment center specializes in developing units for wildfire supresssion. Their report 63 covers all of the 6x6 modifications and includes the hardcab design (in Adobe) that can be downloaded. The M37 and M715 files are no longer online...

My '53 M37 is sporting a really nice VFD installed hardtop.
