I looked into the issues of running a 12v electric/hydraulic plow setup on a 24v equipped M37 last year during the height of the snow season. I think the nicest setup I saw was to run a second alternator in 12v along with its own battery (that would give you 3 batteries).
There are other solutions, tapping off one battery, but this seemed liked the cleanest.
