If your transmission output shaft, transfer case input and output shafts, and rear differential pinion gear shaft are not all exactly on parallel planes, then it helps to also make sure the input and output yokes on your transfer case are in line with one another. This can easily be accompolished by turning the intermediat shaft with both the transmission and transfer case in neutral. Once set, and assuming your drive shaft slip yokes are mated correctly, all four yokes will be in phase with each other and will not change until you drive the truck in low range or spin the transmission while the transfer case is in neutral.

This is one of the first things I check after driving in low range. It really made a difference on a Power-Wagon that I used as a daily driver for 4 years. A lot less viberation.
