Just a few lines down in this forum, look at the series of postings by Dave Maher. As part of his "Precision Coachworks" business, he makes repro PW beds. According to his new website, he only makes "series 1 beds" for late 40's PW's. He hopes to soon make series 2 & 3 beds. Your potential '67 would have a series 3 distinguished primarily by 3 bedstake holes per side (as opposed to 4), and flat topped bed side rails (as opposed to sloped). It seems to be agreed on this Forum that price mostly reflects the value and worth in the eyes of the buyer. From your descr1ption, we have all seen lesser trucks end up going for relatively equal or higher prices. We have also seen relatively equal trucks go for slightly less than you mentioned, but then the buyer will shell out a good percentage of the purchase price to have the new/old truck transported part or all of the way across the country. It doesn't sound like a bad deal based on the going prices for the past year. You will be bound to get some additional comments from the readers here. Good Luck. Bruce
