Does it have lots of power up to 3000 rpm or so? If not, you can't re-gear it. If so, you can.
Since it's a 4X4 I presume offroad traction, performance and ground clearance matter. Improved ride always matters in a truck. Re-gearing both axles will cost about $1200, + labor + bearings + lockers if desired.
I presume you have 7.50-16s or 9.50-16.5s, ~31.5" and 29" respectively. You could switch to 9.00 or even 11.00R16s. A set of 11.00s with 85-90% tread will run about US$900 for 5 at Dollar Tire in Edmonton. A set of single rear wheel type 16X7" 8 bolt steel wheels will be only $200 or thereabouts.
So for <$1200 you can effectively drop down to 4.00 (11.00s are 38.7"), greatly improve ride, ground clearnace and traction. As long as you have the power.
Just an idea.
You can also get 36-37" tall by 12" wide Swamper or SSR radials that fit on 16X7-10" rims.
