I have the ND tires at present. I have found that unless you are on hard rocky ground they do not preform very well. I've slid off a couple of muddy roads and the snow...I'll be truckin down the road and all of a sudden I'm seein the rear wheels in FRONT of me.
As far as the co-op, there should be one in your area, but try calling any tire store that sells "Kelly Springfield" tires. I think they are the ones that make the grip spur, I'll check today.
