He didn't mention 1/2 ton rims because a WD-20 is a two wheel drive, one-ton truck. The WD rims have six bolt holes. Most modern one-ton duallies are the same. Both rear wheels are held on by one nut per stud instead of the Budd system. The only difference is that they have eight (8) bolts instead of six. There's nothing unusual.

There's a WD on page 115 in your "Dodge Trucks" by Don Bunn. The picture is a '46 but it's the same as Colby's '47. The same goes for the picture on page 39 of your "Dodge Pickup Color History" by Dunn and Mike Mueller.

Again, you are absolutely right when you are discussing Power Wagons.
