no, the DATA ID plate shows the typical 133" wb of the single cab W300. My (2) 1964 W300 CCs are actually 146" wb and the 1968 is 165". The data tags on all of them read 133" wb.

On the books, the W300 was only offered as a single cab, all W300 Crew Cabs were special order. I believe the same holds true for the D300 Crew Cabs built before 1969. 1969 thru 1971 were considered regular production.

Does your truck have running boards? Post some pics, please. Is it Gil Hugley's old "Gunsmoke" truck?

The doubling of the frame should be obvious, but the weld will take a little searching/scraping to find. Dodge did not simply "butt up" the frame and re-weld it without using extra support for the frame.

It is possible that the D300 frame is a single piece, but I tend to doubt it. You should be able to crawl under the truck and see it plain as day.
