Final update:
Thanks for all the advice. Previous post by me gave reason for removal as I found chipping on back edge by previous owners attempts. I heated it up, gave it a smack with a drift and single jack, and it didn't sound right. Further closer investigation revealed a hairline crack on the shoe surface side, coinciding with a chip.
With that, I decided to use the gas axe and cut the drum off at hub side, leaving the steel plate and remaining drum attached to hub.
After working my way around with a pry bar the remnants of the drum flew off with a pop.
The rest I plan on removing with hub intact, then visit my friend with a press in his shop to seep rate if necessary.
