My old Jeep... I would go 1st, 2nd, 2nd OD (pushing the tall Warn shifter forward) then grab both and pull them back to 3rd direct then forward on the Warn for 3rd OD. Retro 5 spd. At 60hp you need all the help.

The Dana 18/435 combo is also what I would do to a Jeepster with a warmed over Buick V6 and an offset CJ-5 rear axle. They did not have the 18 in the Jeepster and just a 3 speed :°(
