Hmmmm, that's interesting! I'm starting to wonder if I have a PTO from some other application. Is the shaft for the forward and reverse gears on your later model unit the same diameter as the early style? The early shaft measured 0.812 and the later measured 1.183 inches. The early, original that came off and the replacement are very similar in shape, but the new one is noticeably different and a little larger upon close examination
