Yes sir, floorboards and trans cover are removed, brake pedal pivot is unbolted and dropped down. Now I have nearly unimpeded access to the side of the transmission, but this unit still won't clear the clutch linkage with the spacer in between. In fact, I am about an inch away from getting the bolt holes to line up with the spacer in there. I took both the old original PTO and its replacement and set them on the bench to compare them size-wise. The newer one is considerably larger both top to bottom and side to side and, of course, the driven gear is larger having one more tooth. Now my plan is to try to get a replacement early style unit, rebuild it and put it in there. It should fit since that is what came out of this same space...
