My rear motor mounts area very similar to the helitool kit, so I think my engine sits fairly close to where yours does. If anything mine sits further to the rear, which would bring the manifold drop closer to the steering box. I have had the steering box installed with the engine in, and there was no interference that I saw. I will find out in a week or so when I put the steering box in for good.
