What are you hoping to change about the current setup? I'm guessing you want to go from manual to automatic since you talk about a 727, but what are your goals with this truck? 4WD? How will it be driven? How much money/time/effort are you looking to get into?
You can attach anything to anything with enough time, effort, and money but what options are realistic is going to be based on your other criteria.
