Hello,all! I am working on a 1947 WDX, S/N88750533. When I got the truck a previous operator had removed the front end of the output shaft for the PTO making it impossible to drive a winch. I have since acquired two later (after) PTOs and have rebuilt the better of the two with new bearings, races and all the oil seals only to find out that it will not fit into the truck unless I do some serious grinding on parts that are mounted around it. I can (barely) get the bolts started WITHOUT the spacer in between the transmission and the PTO. WITH the plate, forget about it, the shift rod part of the case will hit the clutch linkage and I cannot get it high enough to line up the bolt holes. ARRGH!! So here is what I'm looking for: does anyone on here have an EARLY (up-to) PTO that they would be willing to sell? Technically, all I need is the shaft (with both ends unmolested) but at this point I have to try to get whatever I can to get my truck put back together with a working winch! Thanks, fellas!
