Hi Daryl,
The intake and exhaust assembly used on the motor were out of a 46-48 Chrysler. Can't remember which year. I believe it is a high rise intake manifold. The exhaust manifold dump is at the rear just like my 230 manifold. Hopefully I can retrofit the whole exhaust system from the 230 onto the 236. I bought the whole exhaust system for the 230 from MWM and it fit in the truck like a glove. The muffler really gives the motor a distinctive sound.
