Float bowl full? Primer levers are good now.

Set the choke and hand throttle first. Make sure it is neutral. SWITCH OFF. Hand crank it around to suck in some prime. Stop with crank at about 7:00 o'clock. Make sure it is in neutral. Turn in the switch. Make sure it is in neutral. Go around front. make sure thumb is alongside the hand, NOT around the crank. Hank the crank UP only. Just the one yank. DO NOT TRY TO "WIND IT UP". If it don't go in the ine crank, turn it backwartds until it catches the claw, turn slowly until 7:00 o'clock, and ONE YANK. That is usaully enough.

The one hard yank is probably a lot harder then the starter pushes it, plus the battery gives full voltage to the coil- whatever that is, with probably a dead battery.
