Thanks for the reply "Junior".

I have a '41 cab, 1939 cab and a '61 cab. The '39 cab looks good as far as lines go so what you are saying probably is true. Could be those young whipper snappers in the 50's and 60's didn't do as good of a job either as far as quality! ;). When I looked at the '61 the passenger side is dead on but the driver looks to be a little off. Nothing extreme as others have said but it is off some.

It never ceases to amaze me with so called jigs. I've bought things that were visually off that the company said was impossible as they are Jigged and cnc'd machined. I told the one guy that it was "perfectly wrong". He finally agreed once I showed a picture of it and returned it. It's always, I don't know how that happened.

When I built my 36' X 50' garage I stringed the one edge and I made sure I was on that end to set before others nailed the other side and top boards. When we got done I looked down the edge with the string and it was laser straight. Started putting sheathing on that side and was happy as a lark till I went to the other side. 2 inch difference in the tails and the roof 2x's were up and down accordingly. Same thing with Truss company, Impossible as they are done on a jig. He changed his mind when he came out and saw it.

Here's a pic of the door tag on the '39
