My sons and I built a very nice home, utilizing lots of huge logs, natural rock, vertical grain fir doors and trim, etc.
The owner b$#^&@d about everything he could find....checks in the logs and beams, the grain on this board doesn't match that board, I don't like this rock. They bought a $7500 refrigerator/freezer, built-in model that was matched to the doors on the cabinets.
The two doors were misaligned at the top by 1/4". I asked him why that was okay, and everything we did he scrutinized. He said: Oh the factory rep looked at it and said they are all that way."
Factory error is acceptable, but human error is not. :( :(
