Seemed to help. I just realized that there are no diodes in my factory power distribution block on the Chevy which i am tapped into on the old swiched power ecm circuits. Since there were no relays running on them, im guessing there is enough backfeeding through the alt excitor wire to keep the ignition circuit energized. I need to find a FSM for the chevy, the wiring schematics i have are a bit lackluster.
