I have a Dustless Blaster and use it on all my restorations. It uses ground glass, water and HoldTite to prevent flash rust. I've had metal open for several months with no problem as long as it doesn't get contaminated by getting wet. It does just like the videos show removing all paints, rust and bondo. It will not take off undercoating or anything soft as those surfaces absorb the energy of the media. The metal is left clean and ready to prime as is. I've never encountered warpage on any parts I've blasted since the water cools the surface. I will say it's not without making a mess but it does clean up with little effort. There are new blasting businesses popping up everyday just go to the Dustless Blasting page to find someone close to you.
