don't know what area you live in but in the mountains out here gears cant be low enough. I did offroad the truck with 489s a bit and didn't like it on the mountainous trails. 5.83s are almost like driving an automatic. creep thru anything. I did drive a PG with 251 for a minute. was my brothers. Sure ran nice.
