What is special about the return pipe? Where exactly does the water get returned? Is it near the back of the head, or the front? Why couldn't you use one of the threaded ports that is already there with a plain old barbed fitting?
I have pondered this, too noting that the coldest one of these aftercoolers can get is 180 degrees, and most of the time it might actually be warming the intake air.
I wondered if there was an elegant way to plumb the aftercooler directly from the radiator to make it as cold as possible. Maybe there's little in actual performance to be gained by doing that?
