Jerry, you are so correct. It's really just the beginning of fire season. In the past out here the biggest problem has been if it is a wind driven fire to carry it to other fuels now it doesn't matter because there is so much light and heavy fuels. Also the winds this year are completely unpredictable. We usually have prevailing out of the South unless a thunder storm is building. This year the wind is rather crazy in direction and speed. Just Mother Nature reminding us that she is in charge.
