I know this is a sore subject, but I have had an electric fuel pump on a wm 300 for about 45 years with no problems, if the truck sits for a while, the pump will prime up the system in a few seconds, the pump is mounted close to the tank so there is no vapor lock. I would put a "ford" type inertia switch in the pump wiring if it was a customer car. Just my opinion..
